We live that statement every single day. We are looking for a Production Planner to help support that mission.JOB SUMMARYThis planning position is focused on our Generator Manufacturing Division. Production planners, also known as production schedulers, are responsible for the smooth running of production within the manufacturing industry. They ensure that products are produced in a cost-effective way that meets quality and customer specifications, and that they are ready to distribute in a timely fashion. Production planners use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), a software system that manages a company's operations, to improve efficiency and productivity. The role frequently requires pushing, pulling, twisting, and lifting materials weighing up to 50 pounds or more.Work is performed in both manufacturing and outdoor environments and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature extremes, dust, noise, moving equipment, and other industrial conditions.
