Candidate should read and interpret technical data, collaborate with engineering, and support maintenance and training to sustain production goals and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical data.
• Experience with machine tool programming or machine tool control software.
• Strong mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, work center schedules, sketches to determine tooling, setup requirements and control settings.
• Develop and optimize part programs to improve cycle times.
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure drawings are correct and reduce defects.
• Move work between cells to maintain production goals when a machine goes down.
• Prepare and pre-set tools for fabrication operations and ensure parts meet prints.
• Assist maintenance and monitor machine preventive checks to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate training of operators to maintain workforce flexibility.
