Job summary

CB&I seeks a Plant Manager Fabrication Operations to lead the shop, drive production efficiency, and manage budgets. This role reports to the Director of Operations and collaborates with finance, procurement, and project teams to meet strategic objectives.

Responsibilities include setting production schedules, controlling costs, and developing succession plans for direct reports while aligning with CB&I's safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Typically 15-20 years since first degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• 10+ years in an Operational role.
• Experience in managing fabrication subcontracts and vendor(s).
• High degree of computer literacy (Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead all shop fabrication activities and coordinate with accounting, billing, contract administration, equipment, government compliance, human resources, procurement, project controls, and project management to ensure production effectiveness and compliance.
• Maintain facility standards for maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements.
• Establish and maintain fabrication production schedules and wage schedules.
• Develop annual fabrication overhead budgets and capital investment budgets.
