Job summary

Westlake Plastics is a world-leading manufacturer of extrusion and compression molding of high-performance thermoplastics. The Fabrication operator role supports production by fabricating rods, slabs, and sheets according to Shop Orders, reading orders, and ensuring tolerance with precision tools.

Hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with safe procedure adherence and quality policy compliance. The position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits including medical, dental,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• At least two years of job shop experience.
• Knowledge of safe operation of shop equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates plastic rods, slabs, and sheets per Shop Orders.
• Reads and interprets Shop Orders.
• Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Operates machines including lathes, drill presses, mills, saws and planers.
• Maintains safety and quality procedures.
