Job summary

Douglas Dynamics, LLC is seeking Fabrication Operators to join our manufacturing team in the United States. This role supports customers and drives long‑term growth by operating laser, press brake, and finishing equipment to produce metal parts per exact specifications.

You will communicate with leads, follow 5‑S practices, and maintain a safe, clean work area while meeting production and delivery targets. At start, pay is $19.00/hour with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/specifications.
• Ability to read calipers, micrometers, and protractors.
• Proficiency with standard computer systems and programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate lasers (CO2 and fiber), press brakes, and finishing equipment per specifications.
• Set up and adjust machines and tooling; identify and fix issues as they arise.
• Run test cycles and perform quality audits to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain safety, quality, and throughput in the fabrication area.
• Perform routine equipment upkeep and document production data daily.
• Collaborate with teammates and other departments to meet production goals.
