Job summary

nVent is seeking a production fabrication associate to support the manufacturing of electrical/electronic enclosures at our Minnesota facility. You will learn and perform set ups, operate welding and forming equipment, and help maintain quality and safety across the fabrication team.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and some fabrication experience; the role includes rotating assignments such as grinding, press brake, welding, and spot welding as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; min. 1 year manufacturing fabrication experience.
• Knowledge in manufacturing practices and metal fabrication.
• Ability to use welding equipment and related tools for fabrication.
• Skills to operate listed machines and safety equipment

Responsibilities

• Learn and support all fabrication functions to meet team objectives.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to supervisor.
• Keep a clean, safe, organized work area and inventory records.
• Set up production materials and tooling per print specifications.
• Operate production equipment per SOP/MOPs.
• Perform grinding, forming (press brake), welding and spot welding as assigned.
