Job summary

nVent Enclosure Systems LLC in Minnesota is seeking a skilled operator to set up, adjust, and maintain laser systems and CNC presses in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will read blueprints, run programs, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure products meet Hoffman quality standards while supporting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year CNC equipment experience preferred.
• 3+ years of production experience preferred.
• Experience with Windows Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate laser systems and CNC presses.
• Use computerized manufacturing technologies to guide fabrication.
• Meet production schedules and safety procedures.
• Read blueprints and verify dimensions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with troubleshooting.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
• Report unsafe conditions promptly.
• Lift and handle heavy materials; operate forklift if needed.
• Comply with Hoffman quality standards.
