Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Min. 1 year manufacturing fabrication experience.
• Knowledge in manufacturing practices.
• Knowledge in metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Learn, teach and interact with all functions to support fabrication team, unit and company objectives.
• Participate in continuous improvement to meet customer needs.
• Comply with safety procedures and report hazards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Notify leaders when problems arise with equipment, operations, materials or inventory.
• Perform set-up duties per production documentation (SOP/MOPs).
• Position materials and tooling per print specifications.
• Operate per production documentation.
• Move production materials as required.
• Maintain production equipment and materials for operations.
• Meet performance standards to meet schedules.
• Ensure products meet nVent quality specs.
• Record transactions to maintain inventory balance in the system.
• Rotational assignments including grinding, forming, welding and related tasks.
