Job summary

nVent is seeking a Team Lead to support day-to-day production goals with strong leadership, training, and safety focus. You will ensure uninterrupted flow and coach employees to meet quality standards while driving continuous improvement throughout assigned processes.

The role requires metal fabrication experience, 2+ years in manufacturing, and a proven ability to motivate a team toward safety and delivery targets. This on-site Minnesota operation supports global manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Metal fabrication experience required, including grinding and welding.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Experience conducting training in alignment to company policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate job expectations to operators and achieve results through coaching and enforcement.
• Motivate a team to meet safety, quality and delivery metrics.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving, including continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement of product through the work area.
• Execute and coordinate employee training to ensure cross training and quality requirements.
• Support production by filling in positions on the line to maintain flow.
• Drive continuous improvement by involving employees in problem solving and recognizing exceptional work.
