Job summary

Henderson Products Inc. in Manchester, IA is seeking a Fabricator for day shift (5am–3pm) to set up and operate fabrication equipment.

You will read blueprints, use measuring tools, and fabricate parts to blueprint specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include using brake presses, lasers, drills, and saws, performing basic shop math, and collaborating with the team to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic shop math and ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Calculate tonnage for punching and shearing
• Identify various steel types and gauges
• Operate overhead hoist and related material-handling equipment

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Produce quality parts meeting daily production targets
• Read blueprints and use work instructions to manufacture to spec
• Communicate with team and supervisors to ensure quality and on-time delivery
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and safety standards
• Work overtime as needed to meet production demands
