Job summary

Henderson Products Inc. in Manchester, IA, is seeking a Fabricator to set up and operate fabrication equipment (Brake Press, Lasers, Drills, Saws) in accordance with SOPs.

You will read blueprints to fabricate parts to blueprint specifications and perform daily 5S activities to ensure quality and safety. The role requires basic shop math, tape measure and protractor skills, and the ability to identify steel types and gauges.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic shop math and ability to read a tape measure and use a protractor.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints.
• Calculate tonnage for punching and shearing.
• Identify various types and gauges of steel.
• Operate overhead hoist.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Produce quality parts that meet daily production requirements.
• Utilize blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to manufacture quality products.
• Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate parts to specification.
• Apply basic shop math and accurately use a tape measure and protractor.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and safety standards.
