Job summary

Loenbro, LLC seeks an Assistant Fabrication Manager to assist the Fabrication Manager in a safe, efficient, high-quality fabrication facility. This role acts as the second-in-command and leads production planning, scheduling, quality control, inventory coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes strong electrical construction experience, team leadership, and a focus on safety, quality, and growth within the fabrication operations environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, fabrication, manufacturing, industrial operations, or related production environment.
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or construction.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Experience reading blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Fabrication Manager in leading day-to-day fabrication facility operations.
• Serve as the facility leader in the absence of the Fabrication Manager.
• Coordinate production schedules, shop workflow, and resource allocation to support project and operational needs.
• Partner with project, field, purchasing, warehouse, and design teams to ensure successful execution of fabrication deliverables.
• Lead daily production activities while promoting safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor production performance, labor productivity, and operational metrics to drive efficiency and consistency.
