Job summary

Loenbro, LLC is seeking an Assistant Fabrication Manager to support the Fabrication Manager at the Aurora, Colorado fabrication facility. This role serves as the second-in-command for operations, guiding production planning, quality control, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, fabrication, manufacturing, industrial operations, or a related production environment.
• 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or construction environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Experience managing production schedules and shop operations.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control process.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fabrication operations and production workflow.
• Coordinate fabrication schedules, material readiness, and delivery requirements.
• Support development of scalable processes, systems, and operational controls that improve efficiency and consistency.
• Collaborate with field and project teams to enhance constructability and overall project performance.
• Maintain quality control processes and fabrication standards.
• Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with specifications and requirements.
• Provide leadership for fabrication activities, including electrical assemblies, conduit systems, skids, custom builds, and related fabrication processes.
• Support welding, metal fabrication, finishing, and coating operations as applicable.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, and manufacturing capacity.
• Supervise, coach, and develop fabrication personnel.
• Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and workforce development initiatives.
• Foster a positive culture centered on teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and industry best practices.
