STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Fabrication Mechanic - Marking Operator for 1st & 2nd shifts. The role labels parts using various marking methods and requires following engineering drawings and routers.

Shift options include 1st: 6:45AM–3:15PM and 2nd: 3:15PM–1:45AM with a $1.00 pay differential. Responsibilities include marking with Electro-Etch, Laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, or Ink, verifying marks, and handling aluminum tags and shrink sleeves.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience with marking methods is a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow routers for marking requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements.
• Use marking methods (Electro-Etch, Laser, Vibro-Peen, Dot-Peen, Ink) to identify materials and assemblies as required.
• Barcode scan or manually enter identification requirements in the computer.
• Manually transfer ink marking onto part surfaces.
• Pre-form aluminum tags before assembly.
• Apply aluminum tags into place.
• Assemble stainless tags onto hoses and tubes.
• Assemble shrink sleeve over marking as required and set in place.
• Stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel; lift up to 25 pounds.
• Be consistently on time; other duties may be assigned as needed.
