Westinghouse Electric Co in Newington, NH is looking for a Fabrication Mechanic A to support our mission for clean energy solutions. This role requires following welding specifications and obtaining welding qualifications while working on-site during the 3rd shift.

Key responsibilities include welding and fitting metal components, grinding, and assisting in the packaging and shipping process. Ideal candidates will have at least three years of fabrication experience with strong knowledge of engineering drawings and welding procedures.

Qualifications

• Three years of fabrication experience or at least one year as a Fabrication Mechanic II at Westinghouse.
• Must be qualified in all welding positions of carbon and stainless steel.

Responsibilities

• Weld/fit metal components together per blueprints.
• Grind welds and perform testing functions per specifications.
• Complete pack and ship Production Orders.
