Job summary

Eaton is hiring a Material Handler (Fabrication) for 1st Shift in Waukesha, WI. Responsibilities include issuing stock, assembling kits, moving parts between fabrication, welding, and shipping areas, and maintaining SAP records.

The role requires the ability to operate material handling equipment and comply with safety and quality standards. The position offers an hourly wage of $21.45, with a $2.50/hr shift premium for off shifts and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility; relocation not offered.
Experience operating material handling equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Issue material from stock location and kits material from daily release and pick list.
Prepare kits for transportation, deliver to dock area, and prepare packing lists.
Deliver finished fabricated parts from machine area to welding, kitting, and shipping areas with proper pallet IDs.
Maintain SAP transactions and ensure stock area cleanliness; address non-conformances.
Move pallets of in-process work to access machines and label items with pallet IDs.
Unload and receive material using a 5-ton crane and place into proper storage with proper documentation.
Receive, locate, and issue daily release parts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Dispose of scrap material properly and coordinate with vendors for scrap removal.
