Job summary
Eaton Power Systems has a 1st shift Production Welder opening in Waukesha, WI. The welder will operate a MIG welding machine and air grinder to assemble and weld tank covers, guards, doors, risers, and cubicle components, ensuring parts meet dimensional and quality specs.
Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience or welding certification. Location is within 50 miles of the site; travel sponsorship is not offered.

- Must be able to work in the US without company sponsorship.
- Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location.
Responsibilities
- Operate a MIG welding machine and grinder.
- Assemble and weld components to meet quality specs.
- Check parts against prints for conformance.
- Set up material in positioner/fixtures.
- Weld various hardware and grind excess weld.
- Operate crane and other mechanical assists to move heavy parts.
