Job summary

Wastequip is seeking a Machine Operator for our Albany, OR manufacturing operation. This full-time role offers competitive pay and a strong benefits package. You will fabricate metal parts, operate a press brake or shear, read blueprints, and ensure dimensions meet specifications.

Experience with CNC basics, setup skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment is preferred. We provide health insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and many other benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a press brake and/or shear.
• Ability to read blueprints and measuring tape.
• Basic CNC controls understanding.
• 1+ year of production experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate steel and other metal parts per work orders and blueprints.
• Operate a press brake and/or shear.
• Adjust rake and blade pressure as needed.
• Set length and angle of cut using stops and guides.
• Position and load material, clamp, and start machines.
• Inspect finished parts for correct dimensions.
