Job summary

ASTEC is seeking a Press Brake Operator in Eugene, OR to set up and run automatic bending and forming equipment, read job orders and blueprints, and ensure parts meet specifications. The role requires adherence to OSHA rules, attention to detail in paperwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

You will install and align dies, measure dimensions, and maintain clean, safe work areas while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Training and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Read and follow job orders and blueprints.
• Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
• Detail oriented when processing paperwork for parts manufacturing.
• Able to interpret sketches or orthographic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic multi-operation machine for bending and forming.
• Install and align dies and forming rolls using measuring tools.
• Verify finished dimensions with micrometers and gauges.
• Ensure work area complies with safety and housekeeping policies.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and handle material safely.
