Job summary

Switchgear Power Systems, LLC is seeking a Fabrication Lead for the weekend night shift in Wisconsin. You will supervise fabrication activities, program laser/press brake/turret machines using CAD/CAM software, and train operators in machinery operation and processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years fabrication/manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years CAD/CAM experience using SigmaNEST, Radan, Ncell, Dr. ABE or Metamation.
• Solid understanding of MS Excel.
• 3+ years press brake operation experience.
• 2+ years laser operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise & participate in fabrication operations on the weekend night shift.
• Program laser, press brake and turret equipment using CAD/CAM software.
• Train fabrication production staff on machinery operation and processes.
• Coordinate flow of parts through fabrication to paint or weld.
• Participate in scheduling meetings and update priorities.
• Maximize material utilization and manage material needs.
• Use measurement tools (tape, micrometer, square, protractor).
• Adjust CAD/CAM settings for efficient operation.
• Maintain high quality standards to meet specs.
• Troubleshoot production laser, brake and turret issues.

Fabrication Lead – Weekend Night Shift

Shift: Friday - Sunday 6:00pm - 6:00am

Overall Responsibility:

Supervise & participate in operational activities related to fabrication. We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication, forklift operation, and mechanical knowledge.

Key Job Duties

• Ability to program laser, press brake and turret equipment using CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to train fabrication production employees on machinery operation and processes / procedures.
• Participate in personnel staffing and review activities.
• Coordinate flow of parts processing through fabrication and on to paint or weld.
• Participate in schedule / status meetings and update based on priorities and deadlines.
• Maximize / manage material utilization and material needs.
• Able to use measuring equipment: tape measure, micrometer, square, protractor, etc.
• Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications.
• Make necessary adjustments to CAD/CAM software for efficient operation of laser, press brake and turret equipment.
• Hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications.
• Follow company policy and standards.
• Keep work centers clean and orderly.
• Use job data (PO, FPL) to generate material requirements.
• Troubleshoot issue on production laser, brake and turret.

Required Skills And Experience

• 5+ years Fabrication/Manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years CAD/CAM experience using any of the following: SigmaNEST, Radan, Ncell, Dr. ABE, Metamation, etc.
• Solid understanding of MS Excel.
• 3+ years press brake operation experience.
• 2+ years laser operation experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour + $3.00 per hour shift differential
