Job summary

AAON, Inc. in Redmond, WA is seeking a hands-on manufacturing helper to assist with layout, material handling, and equipment support.

You will work with Journeymen on forming large parts, operate a forklift, and help keep the line running smoothly in a manufacturing setting. The role requires the ability to stand on concrete for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and collaborate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Holds tape measure, and marks reference points to assist in layout.
• Loads, stacks and transports raw material and tools.
• Picks up and trucks scrap form work areas.
• Assists Journeyman when forming large parts.
• Responsible for shakeout and tagging parts.
• Operates a forklift.
• Assists operators on press brake and other equipment.

• Holds tape measure, and marks reference points to assist in layout
• Loads, stacks and transports raw material and tools
• Picks up and trucks scrap form work areas
• Assists Journeyman when forming large parts
• Responsible for shakeout and tagging parts
• Operates a forklift
• Assists operators on press brake and other equipment

Education:

None

Skills:

• Posses a mechanical aptitude
• Have basic math skills
• Able to work independently and with others
• Able to stand for prolonged periods on concrete floors
• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Forklift operations (preferred).

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job the employee will work in a manufacturing facility and regularly be exposed to: Humidity, loud noises, dirt Varying and extreme temperatures Sheet Metal Forklift traffic.
