Job summary

Steel & O'Brien Manufacturing in Arcade, NY is seeking a Fabrication Fitter to assemble, fit and weld stainless steel components per engineering drawings to produce high-quality parts and assemblies. This role requires strong metal fabrication skills, precision measurement, and knowledge of stainless steel materials and fabrication techniques.

The position involves reading blueprints, using measuring tools, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify and cut various diameter tubing and fittings to conform to customer specifications.
• Daily usage of measuring devices such as calipers, height gauges and tape measures.
• Perform job functions in a safe and efficient manner.
• Read blueprints and shop plans.
• Help develop designs for welding projects.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment.
• Position may include other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor and/or management.
