Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to use measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers, accurately.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues with components or assemblies.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and handle heavy materials.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine project requirements.
• Assemble and fit metal components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
• Ensure proper alignment and positioning of components before welding or fastening.
• Perform quality checks on fitted assemblies, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or defects.
• Prepare surfaces by grinding, cleaning, or cutting to achieve precise fits and joints.
• Collaborate with Welders and other production team members to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean, functional, and ready for use.
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
