Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for fabrication and construction projects from plans and specifications.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze materials, labor, subcontractor costs.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and field operations to solicit bids and gather information.
• Identify bid items and provide cost estimates for each component.
• Prepare reports documenting assumptions, risks, and cost drivers.
• Maintain cost keys and price masters; update as needed.
• Support senior management to optimize profits and minimize costs.
• Collaborate with owner/client and vendors to ensure accurate scopes of work.
