Job summary

AdientOne Consulting in Kansas City, MO seeks a pipe fabrication associate with 6–8 months of machining experience. You will move, cut, assemble pipe, and operate band saws, Landis machines, and forklifts while following safety guidelines.

You will read tape measures, perform quality checks, and maintain organized work areas in a hot, non-climate controlled shop. Training provided; strong math and teamwork required.

Qualifications

• 6-8 months recent experience with machinery such as pipe threaders, band saws, roll groove machines, plasma cutting, automatic welding machines, and pneumatic banders.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong math skills for calculating product quantities.
• Knowledge of safe work practices in the pipe yard.
• Experience with machinery for cutting and threading pipe (training provided).

• Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies.
• Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.
• Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and procedures.
• Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication.
• Measure, record, and add random pipe lengths accurately.
• Measure and cut pipe using band saws or torches.
• Thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines.
• Inspect and maintain forklift equipment.

• 6-8 months experience in mechanical background

• Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies.
• Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.
• Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines and procedures.
• Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication.
• Measure, record, and add random pipe lengths accurately.

• Ability to sort/shift pipe ranging from " to 10".
• Preferred experience in fire sprinkler pipe fabrication (6-8 months).

Non-climate controlled, can get very hot (not air-conditioned).
