PDS Tech Commercial in Ashland, VA is hiring for an Entry-Level Pipe Fabrication / Machine Operator on 1st shift. This temp-to-perm role offers hands-on training with band saws and pipe fabrication machinery, with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 months of recent machine or mechanical experience, can read a tape measure, and works well in a non-climate-controlled environment. High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with threading, beveling, cutting, and preparing pipe.
• Move and organize pipe throughout the shop and yard.
• Perform basic quality checks.
• Operate material-handling equipment as trained.
• Follow all safety and production procedures.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with training available on specialized pipe fabrication equipment. If you have at least 6-8 months of recent machine, mechanical, automotive, maintenance, or similar hands-on experience , this could be a great next step.

What You'll Do

• Operate band saws and pipe fabrication machinery .
• Measure and cut pipe using a tape measure and gauges .

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
