Job summary

Trillium Staffing in Columbus, OH is seeking Metal Shop Assistants for a contract-to-hire, 2nd shift role. You will work on the shop floor performing fabrication, assembly and inserting hardware into machined parts.

The shifts run Mon-Fri 3:15pm-1:45am with split-shift training Mon-Thur 10am-8:30pm; pay starts at $20-$22 per hour, depending on experience and skills. HS diploma and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent with 1+ year in mechanical assembly or metal fabrication.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read prints/schematics.
• Ability to identify metals is a plus.

For more than 40 years, this precision Machine Shop in Columbus has been performing sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly and finishing for manufacturers in a wide range of industries.

Seeking Metal shop assistants for 2nd shift openings. Metal Shop Assistants will perform various functions on the shop floor including fabrication, assembly and inserting hardware into machined parts. 2nd shift schedule is Mon-Fri 3:15pm-1:45p (will train on split shift Mon-Thur 10a-8:30p). Pay will begin at $20-$22/hr depending on previous experience and skills.

Experience

• HS Diploma or equivalent 1yr+ experience is mechanical assembly or metal fabrication in manufacturing
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to read prints/schematics
• Ability to identify metals is a plus
