Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication and Assembly Technician for first shift production. The technician will follow shop drawings to drill, cut, grind, assemble, and install components on control panels according to shop standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience with metal working tools. Strong organizational, communication, and reliability skills are required, along with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year or more of experience in metal working tools preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• US work authorization without sponsorship required.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving and background checks.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings.
• Layout device locations on enclosures.
• Use plasma cutter, jig saw, grinder, drills, and hole saws to create cutouts.
• Install din rail, wire duct, equipment, terminal blocks, and nameplates.
• Ensure project quality meets specifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Perform tasks within project hours and assist with scheduling.
• Possibly perform customer-site work as needed.
