Luttrell Staffing Group in Blountville, TN is hiring a Fabrication Technician for the 1st shift. This full-time, temp-to-hire role offers weekly pay and insurance options.

You will follow shop procedures, use powered hand tools, and perform bench tasks such as deburring, sanding, drilling, and cutting to specification while maintaining quality and productivity. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; technical school

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Technical school training preferred.
• Experience using powered hand tools required.
• Prior experience in a related position preferred.
• Ability to stand for duration of shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach.

Responsabilités

• Follow shop procedures, work instructions, prints, diagrams, and verbal directions.
• Move and position materials and components at workstations and equipment.
• Use hand and manual tools to perform bench work such as deburring, sanding, and tapping.
• Select, measure, cut, notch, and miter materials per specifications.
• Punch, drill, or burn holes using machinery, tools, and programs.
• Perform bending operations to required specifications using appropriate equipment.
• Measure and count accurately to meet quality standards and production requirements.
• Maintain productivity to meet customer demand and deadlines.
• Follow all safety and quality standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Keep work area clean and organized using tools, solvents, and cleaning supplies.
• Maintain reliable attendance, work efficiently, and complete overtime as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members
• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place.
• Completes any other related tasks as needed
