Job summary

Hunter Douglas, a leading window coverings manufacturer, seeks a Flat Prep 1 position at our Augusta, GA facility. You will prep fabric, fold and press materials, and ensure accurate alignment for soft shades. A focus on safety, PPE usage, and process adherence is required in a production setting.

Qualifications

• Safety rules and PPE compliance required.
• Ability to move around the workstation and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift or carry items as part of duties.
• Attention to detail for fabric preparation and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Receive pre-cut fabric for soft shades and prepare it for assembly.
• Fold, press, and align face fabric and lining to specified dimensions.
• Mark and pin fabric at regular intervals to maintain accuracy.
• Secure fabric and lining using tape and ensure correct alignment to avoid injury.
• Perform other duties as assigned and report any safety concerns.
