Hunter Douglas is seeking a fabric sewing specialist at Carole Fabrics to join a long‑standing team dedicated to quality window treatments. You will operate industrial sewing machines to sew draperies and valances, verify measurements, follow patterns, and uphold safety and quality standards.

This role requires standing for long periods, reading a tape measure accurately, and staying focused on details while producing consistent results.

Qualifications

Operate industrial sewing machines with accuracy and speed.
Read and interpret patterns, measurements, and work instructions.
Maintain quality and production standards through careful work.

Responsibilities

Operate industrial sewing machines to sew draperies, valances, and other window treatments.
Work with different fabrics and materials according to production requirements.
Review work tickets and verify measurements before sewing.
Follow patterns, measurements, and written work instructions.
Sew accurately while maintaining quality and production standards.
Iron and press finished products to achieve a clean appearance.
Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
Safely operate sewing machines and production equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all safety and quality procedures.
Communicate quality or safety concerns to your supervisor.
Perform other duties to support the production team.
