Job summary

Garan Apparel seeks a Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines within the Fabric ecosystem in New York. You will implement Medallion architecture (Bronze-Silver-Gold) and deliver analytics-ready datasets to empower AI and BI initiatives.

You will work with Data Factory, OneLake, Lakehouse, and Power BI, building robust data models, ensuring data quality, governance, and secure data access for stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or closely related tools (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Power BI).
• Strong expertise in Medallion architecture and modern data lake/lakehouse patterns.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Spark.
• Experience with Lakehouse architectures and distributed data processing.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric components.
• Implement and manage Medallion architecture to ensure data quality and governance.
• Ingest, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Build and maintain Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions within Fabric.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
