Hydro Extrusions in Delhi, LA, US is seeking a skilled welder to join our production team. You will identify proper welding wire and alloy, set parameters, and operate GMAW with aluminum, including changing wire, rollers, tips, and ensuring weld quality on a fast-paced assembly line.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand on hard surfaces, and work in non-climate-controlled temperatures.

Responsabilidades

• Identify proper welding wire and alloy is used for the applicable base metal.
• Ability to change wire, rollers, tips, diffusers, nozzles and set proper tension on rollers.
• Ability to set proper welding parameters (voltage & wire speed).
• Demonstrate competency in GMAW techniques with solid wire on aluminum in the Flat, Horizontal & Vertical Fillet Positions.
• Demonstrate competency in post welding treatment – i.e., brushing, cleaning, straightening & weld quality.
• Pass Welding Performance Test (on-site during interview process).
• Fast paced assembly style facility.
• Ability to handle several hundred small welds applied in a single shift.

Wage: $19.58 per hour plus $1 per hour swing differential

Shift- 1pm-9pm Monday-Friday with OT

• Technical Training Desired with focus in Welding.
• Welding Certification, preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills
