Hydro Extrusion USA, LLC is seeking a skilled welder for our Delhi, LA production facility, operating 1pm-9pm, Monday-Friday with overtime. You will identify proper welding wire and alloys for aluminum base metal and set up equipment to achieve correct parameters and weld quality.

Responsabilidades

• Identify proper welding wire and alloy for the base metal.
• Change wire, rollers, tips, diffusers, and set proper tension on rollers.
• Set proper welding parameters (voltage and wire speed).
• Demonstrate competency in GMAW techniques with solid wire on aluminum in multiple positions.
• Post-welding treatment: brushing, cleaning, straightening and ensuring weld quality.
• Pass Welding Performance Test on-site during the interview process.
• Work in a fast-paced assembly style facility.
• Handle several hundred small welds per shift.

Wage

$19.58 per hour plus $1 per hour swing differential

Shift- 1pm-9pm Monday-Friday with OT

What you will be doing

• Identify proper welding wire and alloy is used for the applicable base metal.
• Ability to change wire, rollers, tips, diffusers, nozzles and set proper tension on rollers.
• Ability to set proper welding parameters (voltage & wire speed).
• Demonstrate competency in GMAW techniques with solid wire on aluminum in the Flat, Horizontal & Vertical Fillet Positions.
• Demonstrate competency in post welding treatment - i.e., brushing, cleaning, straightening & weld quality.
• Pass Welding Performance Test (given on-site during interview process-Q.A. determination).
• Fast paced assembly style facility.
• Ability to handle several hundred small welds applied in a single shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical Training Desired with focus in Welding.
• Welding Certification, preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic math skills
