Job summary

Hydro Extrusions is seeking a hands-on team member for its Delhi, LA, US facility to ensure on-time delivery of daily products with zero defects. You will adhere to safety, quality, and production standards while performing daily tasks and basic setup on industrial equipment.

Tape measure reading is required; prior exposure to industrial saws, brakes, plasma tables, or end mills is a plus. The role emphasizes housekeeping, equipment checks, and maximiz-ing material efficiency within site

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret measurements.
• Basic knowledge of operating industrial saws, press brakes, plasma tables or end mills is a plus.
• Team-oriented with a focus on safety, quality and production.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily products are delivered to internal customers on time with no defects.
• Maintain safety, quality, and production standards in the department.
• Perform daily tasks (cut-sheets) and keep department organized and clean.
• Ensure machines are in working order and tools are properly maintained.
• Maximize material usage and ensure accurate material flow to welding.

Wage: $18.72 per hour plus a $1 differential

What you will be doing

Primary Function:

• Ensure internal customers (Fabrication) receives daily products on time with no quality defects.
• Ensure we are practicing our core values and keeping mind on safety, quality and production.
• Completion of daily tasks assigned (Cut-sheets).
• Basic knowledge/experience needed on Industrial style saws, press Brakes, plasma tables, end-mills are a plus.
• Must be able to read a tape measure. Testing will be conducted.
• Ensure housekeeping of the department is at an acceptable level set forth by lead and Dept. Manager.
• Ensure machines used are in working order and clean throughout the work day
• Material accuracy going to welding cell set-forth by site tolerances.
• Material racks stay safe and organized
• Maximizing usage of material .
