Job summary

Hydro Extrusion USA, LLC seeks a Fab Tech - Machinist I in Delhi, LA. This permanent role operates 5am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday OT, ensuring timely delivery of daily products with zero defects.

You will read a tape measure, work with industrial saws, press brakes, plasma tables and end-mills, keep the shop safe and organized, and support the REDD Team in maintaining quality, efficiency and material usage.

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure and measure parts accurately.
• Flexible in work schedule and willing to overtime.
• Team player with good attendance and reliability.
• Follow safety and quality rules.
• Willing to wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure internal customers (Fabrication) receives daily products on time with no quality defects.
• Ensure we are practicing our core values and keeping mind on safety, quality and production.
• Completion of daily tasks assigned (Cut-sheets).
• Must be able to read a tape measure; testing will be conducted.
• Ensure housekeeping of the department is at an acceptable level set forth by lead and Dept. Manager.
• Ensure machines used are in working order and clean throughout the work day.
• Material accuracy going to welding cell set-forth by site tolerances.
• Material racks stay safe and organized.
• Maximizing usage of material.

Wage

Wage is $18.72 per hour plus benefits

Shift

This is a 5am to 3:30pm shift- M-Fr with some mandatory OT on Saturdays

Primary Function

• Ensure internal customers (Fabrication) receives daily products on time with no quality defects.

• Basic knowledge/experience needed on Industrial style saws, press Brakes, plasma tables, end-mills are a plus.
• Must be able to read a tape measure. Testing will be conducted.
• Ensure housekeeping of the department is at an acceptable level set forth by lead and Dept. Manager.
• Ensure machines used are in working order and clean throughout the work day
• Material accuracy going to welding cell set-forth by site tolerances.
• Material racks stay safe and organized
• Maximizing usage of material.
