Job summary

Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a full-time Shop Welder with pipe welding experience to support tank construction and repair projects across the country. Based in Braddock, PA, you will work on-site with a team dedicated to safety, quality, and timely delivery of welded tanks and related structures.

Ideal candidates have welding experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to solve problems and improve processes.
• Willingness to learn and work safely.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide site supervision and lead field teams on PTS projects.
• Interface with customers, vendors and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity throughout the project.
• Understand contract scope and identify field changes as needed.
• Lead by example to ensure safety and quality on the jobsite.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Share craft knowledge in welding, structural erection, and tank work.
• Assist in recruiting field workers and completing project paperwork.
