Phillips Tank & Structure (PTS) is hiring a Fab Shop Welder in Braddock, PA. This role requires reading blueprints, selecting welding methods, setting up welds, and performing welding in various positions while maintaining safety and quality across projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Willing to authorize background check.
• No criminal convictions for dishonesty, violence, or terrorism.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to submit to pre-hire, random and post-incident drug tests.
• Good communication skills.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to pass welding tests for stick and flux core.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings; plan layout and procedures.
• Determine welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Set up components for welding per specifications and drawings.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment in various positions.
• Align components with jigs, clamps, and measuring tools.
• Perform basic safety checks and maintain tools and area.
