Job summary

MACOM is seeking a Shift Manager for its semiconductor wafer fabrication operations. The role oversees production on a compressed work week, driving safety, quality, throughput and on-time delivery across shifts.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in engineering or manufacturing management, a BS in engineering, and the ability to lead a high-performance team in a fast-paced fab environment.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years of engineering and/or manufacturing management experience.
• BS in Engineering required.
• U.S. Persons only due to ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Fab performance metrics including safety, revenue, throughput, cycle time, yield and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Fab engineering, equipment, quality and facilities teams.
• Oversee WIP management and on-time delivery to commitments.
• Staffing: hiring, training, retention, dismissal, and employee relations; enforce policies.
• Create and maintain a high-performance culture.
• Drive continuous improvement of operational procedures, yield, and systems.
• Lead productivity improvement and cost-reduction projects across shifts.
• Drive standardization across shifts.
