Job summary

Avantor’s Hillsboro site seeks a role in Lab and Production Services to support customizable lab work and protocols that help accelerate scientific work. The position involves working in a Class 1 cleanroom, managing inventory, and ensuring safe handling of materials to keep Fab operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2-year technical degree or related experience preferred.
• 2+ years equivalent experience in material handling/inventory replenishment or customer service.
• Intermediate to advanced computer/smartphone skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Troubleshooting experience a plus.
• Spill containment training, IMDG, LOTO and OSHA Right to Know experience/certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate within Class 1 cleanroom environments and adhere to safety and contamination control protocols.
• Follow Fab protocols, including gowning procedures, material handling, and environmental safety standards.
• Prepare shipping documentation and ensure packaging meets regulatory and customer-specific requirements.
• Manage consigned, non-consigned, customer-owned, and 3rd-party inventory on-site.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and provide daily customer service to ensure uninterrupted Fab operations.
• Monitor and process orders using Intel’s ordering system.
