Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho is hiring a Fab Support Documentation Specialist to develop, maintain, and standardize technical documentation that supports Fab Support operations. You will work with Equipment Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, Workforce Development, and Safety teams to align documentation with business objectives.

You will translate complex engineering information into clear, structured documentation and create visual work instructions using photos, diagrams, and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Technical field with at least 1 year experience.
• 1+ year experience with document control and version management.
• Exceptional technical writing and editing skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Author, edit, and maintain equipment maintenance procedures and work instructions.
• Develop and standardize Preventive and Corrective maintenance procedures.
• Create troubleshooting guides, decision trees, and recovery procedures.
• Manage documentation lifecycle, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Translate complex tech info into clear docs for technicians and engineers; add visuals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture knowledge and validate procedures.
• Lead documentation governance and lifecycle compliance.
