Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, ID seeks a Documentation Specialist to develop and standardize technical and operational documentation supporting PCVD operations. You will create maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guides, and visual work instructions for technicians and engineers.

You will translate complex information, ensure compliance, and manage the documentation lifecycle with stakeholders across Equipment Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, Process Owners, and Safety teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technical Writing with 1+ year in semiconductor manufacturing or an Associate’s in Technical Writing with 2+ years in semiconductors.
• Experience developing, revising, or maintaining technical documentation with SMEs.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics; manage documents.
• Proficiency with Word, Office Suite, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve technical/operational documentation.
• Build and standardize PM/CM procedures with annotated visuals.
• Translate complex technical information into clear docs for technicians/engineers.
• Manage documentation lifecycle and support change control processes.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Technicians, Process Owners, and Safety teams.
