Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the F21 FAB project in Phoenix, Arizona. You will design new fab mechanical systems (HVAC, clean room, and air abatement) and collaborate across disciplines to implement reliable, compliant solutions.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to evaluate and apply innovative technologies within regulatory constraints.

Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Mechanical PE qualification preferred.
• 1+ year of related design experience in mechanical systems (semiconductor preferred).
• Familiar with Word/Excel/PowerPoint/AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design of the new fab Mechanical (HVAC/Clean room/Air abatement) systems.
• Demonstrate cross-departmental communication, coordination, and problem solving.
• Evaluate and implement innovative technologies for manufacturing facilities.
• Designs for new Fabs in compliance with local codes/regulations.
