TSMC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Mechanical design professional to contribute to the design of fab HVAC/clean room systems. This role requires collaboration across departments to solve problems and implement innovative technologies while maintaining compliance with local codes.

Applicants should have a background in mechanical engineering and at least one year of relevant design experience in semiconductor environments, with Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools.

• Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Mechanical PE qualification is preferred.
• More than 1 year of related design experience in Mechanical systems.
• Familiar with Word/Excel/PowerPoint/AutoCAD software.

Job Description

• Must have strong skills in cross-departmental communication, coordination, and problem solving.
• Ability to evaluate and implement innovative technologies.
• Overcome challenges from new manufacturing process and promote a sustainable environment.
• Designing new Fabs in compliance with local code / regulations.

Qualifications

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:

• Mechanical PE qualification is preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Chemical Engineering (HVAC/Clean room/Air abatement).
• More than 1 year of related design experience in Mechanical systems preferably in the semiconductor industry or other related industry.
• Familiar with Word/Excel/PowerPoint/AutoCAD software.
