Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Project Manager to support FAA's surveillance and radar modernization efforts on the NISC team. The role focuses on planning, organizing and managing resources to achieve program goals within scope, schedule and budget.

The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS and 8–12 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Project and Excel. Prior FAA experience is highly desirable; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA or BS degree and 8 to 12 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to present ideas to diverse audiences.
• Proficient with MS Project and Excel (Macros).
• Prior FAA experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project schedules are met within budget.
• Provide timely responses to technical and program inquiries.
• Assist in budget formulation using FAA databases.
• Prepare documents supporting program schedules.
• Work independently to meet program objectives.
• Update schedules and coordinate with FAA construction managers.
• Organize teleconferences to keep projects on track.
• Input programmatic data using client databases.
• Conduct investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
