Job summary

Leidos in Oklahoma City is seeking a Database / Software Developer to design, develop, and modernize data-driven software applications that manage aeronautical information for FAA customers. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or related field with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise software.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript or similar.
• Strong relational databases experience (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Experience in complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data interfaces.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain data-driven software for aeronautical information distribution.
• Support special projects, modernization, and integration of COTS applications.
• Develop database structures, queries, procedures, views, and interfaces.
• Collaborate with FAA stakeholders and cross-functional teams across the software lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and documentation across projects.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure security, quality, and compliance in software development lifecycle.
