Job summary

Segers Aero Corporation in Fairhope, AL is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative to support the Quality Department with inspections, documentation review, and continuous improvement to ensure compliance with regulations and procedures.

This full-time role requires leading inspectors, performing MRB inspections, and contributing to audits. The position offers a 9/80 schedule, competitive benefits, and diverse QA responsibilities within aviation manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically to support business needs.
• Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to interpret manuals and follow through.
• Experience with QA processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop inspectors to ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Perform daily inspection requirements to support production schedule.
• Lead or participate in improvement efforts to reduce errors and costs.
• Complete inspections per approved technical data and documentation.
• Identify defects and ensure correct configuration against parts lists.
• Document inspections using electronic databases and QC paperwork.
• Participate in internal and external audits and corrective actions.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and support safety procedures.
