Job summary

Segers Aero Corporation located in Fairhope, AL is seeking an Inspector to join our team. The role involves detailed inspections of gas turbine engine and propeller components in accordance with technical data and SAC policies.

It is a safety-sensitive position with FAA/DOT required drug testing and compliance. The ideal candidate will have aviation inspection experience, the ability to use precision measuring tools, and proficiency with ERP/Microsoft Office systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; FAA Power Plant license preferred.
• Experience: aviation inspection, safety-sensitive role per FAA/DOT.
• Must pass background check and FAA-mandated drug screen.
• Proficient in precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily inspection assignments as directed by the Supervisor.
• Inspects material for surface defects such as cracks or pits.
• Uses precision measuring instruments per approved data.
• Compares product with parts list or sample to ensure assembly.
• Rejects defective parts and marks defects accordingly.
• Maintains inspection records and required paperwork.
• Assists with training of other inspection personnel.
• Maintains clean, organized work area and follows safety policies.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
