Job summary

ST Engineering Aerospace in Pensacola, FL, seeks a Quality Assurance Inspector to evaluate quality systems for FAA and customer compliance within active programs. You will document non-conformities, support root-cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement across maintenance operations.

The role requires strong communication, aircraft maintenance knowledge, and a commitment to safety in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Edge: working knowledge of QA systems and regulatory standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
• Strong writing and presentation skills; ability to prepare reports and present findings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional interaction.
• Familiar with FARs and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate VT Mobile Aerospace Engineering, Inc.’s procedures for conformance to customer and regulatory requirements.
• Perform surveillance of activities within a customer’s program.
• Document non-conformities on CARs per PPM QC-010.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Follow up surveillance to verify effectiveness of CAR actions.
• Review past non-conformities to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Educate personnel on program requirements across VT Mobile Aerospace Engineering, Inc. and customer programs.
• Maintain quality perspective in production areas to promote safety and compliance.
• Interface with management and customer reps to drive improvements.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Manager Quality Assurance.
