Job summary

Art Craft Paint Inc. in California seeks a qualified FAA-certified Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations on our aircraft fleet. You will follow FAA regulations, ADs, SBs, and approved manuals to ensure airworthiness.

The role requires 3–6 years of experience, FAR Part 135 operations, and strong troubleshooting skills. You will join a safety-focused team, work overtime as needed, and contribute to a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate in good standing.
• 3-6 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience working with FAR Part 135 aircraft operations.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, FAA Form 337s, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, wiring diagrams, and technical data.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting and vibration balancing.
• Knowledge of sheet metal and composite repair techniques.
• Proficiency using electronic maintenance manuals and vendor technical data.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a professional attitude.
• Willingness to work overtime and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations in accordance with FAA regulations and approved manuals.
• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft mechanical and electrical systems.
• Verify part numbers and serial numbers before installation or removal for accurate documentation.
• Complete maintenance records in compliance with FAA regulations and company requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist in establishing maintenance processes that meet Part 145 Repair Station standards.
• Perform additional duties to support operations.
